Bosc de les Fades café is known since its inauguration in the 90s as the last stage of the visit to the Wax Museum of Barcelona. In December 2020 this Museum was reopened with a complete reform of both the space and the figures; now, there's 28 new scenarios with more than 150 figures that collect the most relevant characters of all time; from the great classics, such as Pablo Picasso, to the most current ones such as Rosalia. Don't miss the opportunity to visit it, as this museum never ceases to amaze!
Go a little further into the Bosc de les Fades and you will arrive at the Wax Museum store, a neat corner that offers products related to the visit to the Museum, but where you can also find local products, books and souvenirs related to Catalan culture.
El Bosc de les Fades is located at the bottom of the most famous street in the city: La Rambla. Its surroundings are varied and ideal to spend a whole day. You can discover Plaza Cataluña, reach the port, or stroll through the Gothic Quarter, Raval and Born.
If you walk around the area you can not miss Catalonia Square. It is the nerve center where some of the most important streets of the city converge, such as Paseo de Gracia, La Rambla, or Rambla Cataluña. In addition, in its surroundings you will find stores, bars and art centers.
The mountain of Montjuic gathers some of the most emblematic spaces of the city. The spectacular MNAC (National Art Museum of Catalonia) welcomes you, and if you go up you can visit CaixaForum, the Spanish Village, the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools or the Botanical Garden of Barcelona, until you reach the imposing Montjuic Castle, which can also be visited and where you'll enjoy amazing views of the city and the port.
One of the great attractions of Barcelona is the sea. Strolling along the Barceloneta, its beaches and the Olympic Port, is always a good option.
From Bosc de les Fades you can walk there, a very pleasant walk at any time of the year.
